1. (noun) The state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.
Sometimes late into the night Calyn will drift into and out of sleep. When she wakes she always looks at us so pensively and quietly. She is content just to be near to us. Her opulent eyes are sincere and shiny. And her sly smiles and speeches allude to the sweetest secrets. When she finally does settle in, we wind our hearts by the rise and fall of her chest.
